The dam is in imminent danger of failing, which could send 17 feet of water to Kentwood within 90 minutes, Jindal said, in a press briefing....

I dont care for any of the MSM stations but this is GREAT! ...
Not my normal post but I have to say something.

It is a mess down here. Roads are closed everywhere and people are stuck in between. Bill (her husband) is on his way here now from Gainesville. My office in Lake City is closed now that the county emergency management has closed Columbia County. Suwannee County where I live has the Suwannee River on three sides of the county. It is going to be a bigger mess as the rain is not stopping for a few ...

TS Berly will be making land fall (well the eye will be south of my dad) but will be making land fall near my dad in Fernandina. He will take picturs IF anything happens, Said so far it is only seeming like a Noreaster more than a TS. Said the wind is about 20-25 where he is.
Of course we have the Jax Pier live cam showing the water churning up greatly (if we can get it to play) the link below is Daytona and we have an old guy Oz who is in Fernandina as well live feeding. I am and I know a few...

A Plea to the National Media
"It's happened for years now - the national (and some local) media just can't seem to report weather-related stories without goofing something up. There are times where the goofs are minor, but many of the mistakes are substantial. It's even worse that this is happening at the national network level, where, in theory, the reporters and anchors should be "the best of the be...
